Former member of Delta State Executive Council, Hon. Johnbull Atse Edema, says the emergence of the member representing Warri South – West Constituency, Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor as Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, will breathe life into governance in the state.
Edema, who hinged his position on the ” humility and youthfulness ” of Rt. Hon. Guwor, stated that the new Delta State Speaker, has an exceptional listening ability ” needed to lead the state legislature and come up with innovations, capable of strengthening executive – legislative relationship and ultimately fast – track people – driven governance.”

The immediate past Commissioner, Bureau for Special Duties, who made the assertion last night, while felicitating with Rt. Hon. Guwor, averred that as former Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party in Warri South – West Local Government Area, he had the privilege of relating closely with party leaders in the area, including Rt. Hon. Guwor, hence his belief that members of the State House of Assembly, chose the right person as Speaker.
Whilst rallying support for Rt. Hon. Guwor, Hon. Edema, asked Deltans to de – emphasize ethnic sentiment and set achievable targets for the new government in the state.
