2027: PDP will lose again if……. PDP Chieftain predicts
A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former presidential aspirant in the 2023 presidential race, Nwachukwu Anakwenze has predicted that his party the PDP will lose again in the 2027 presidential election if the party continue to produce candidates the way they did in the 2023 race.
Nwachukwu Anakwenze who was speaking on AIT “Democracy Today” Tuesday November 7, 2023 edition, accused the immediate past PDP Chairman, Iyorcha Ayu of allegedly destroying PDP with highest bidder during the primaries of the PDP in their convention, mentioning that some aspirants used up to 20 thousand Dollars to give to delegates during the exercise.
He however cautioned that the party should allow the National Chairman to be zoned to the North and its Presidential candidate South specifically SouthEast in order for them to win.
Anakwenze expressed his believe that assuming PDP had zoned its party presidential ticket to the southeast in the 2023 presidential election it could have won landslide but because they didn’t do so they lost, warning that if such continues PDP coming back to the centre will take longer time.
