COCOSA mourns passage of former School Principal, Pa. Isume @92

College of Commerce Warri Old Students Association, COCOSA Worldwide mourns passage of its former Principal, Pa. Chief Samuel Ukoro Isume who passed on at the age of 92 on Friday March 22, 2024.
Pa. Isume was principal College of Commerce, Warri from 1967 – 1973, he transited peacefully at his home town Obiaruku, Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State.
President College of Commerce Old Students Association, Worldwide, Comrade Victor Enijuni in a statement made available to newsmen through the Association’s Public Relations Officer, PRO, Celestine Ukah on behalf of the Old Students described the former College Principal as a wonderful personality and gentleman who had pierced through the hearts of his students during his time as principal of College of Commerce, Warri.
President Enijuni noted that some years ago students gathered at Chief Isume’s home to attend his birthday party at Obiaruku and that his students came in from all over the world including from UK, USA, Lagos, Asaba and Warri to grace the Flamboyant Occasion duly hosted by the then students.
He commiserated with the Isume’s family and assured them of COCOSA standing behind them, According to the COCOSA President “I believe strongly that once again his students he thought then, they will rally round to give him a befitting burial Ceremony as they have continued to celebrate him when he was alive, just like COCOSA did to Late Chief Agbi Ikpen of Ovwian Community who left our School in 1949.”
He prayed thus: “May we all live to a full old age with lots of beautiful and resounding memories to behold and May his gentle soul and the souls of all the Faithful departed rest in Perfect Peace”.
