“My esteemed Brothers and Sisters in Islam, Assalamu alaikum wa Ramatullah wa Barakatuh.
“On behalf of members of the Executives of the Delta State Council for Islamic Affairs, and the entire Muslim Community in the State, I congratulate Us on our successful completion of the Fast and other acts of worship in this immediate past month of Ramadan.
“There is no doubt that most of us stepped up our acts of worship during this period; these included: vigorous recitation and studying of the Noble Qur’an, Azkar, intense worship, giving charity and many more. I pray that Almighty Allah SWT accepts these from us as an acts of worship.
“My esteemed Brothers and Sisters Remember that the end of fasting in the month of Ramadan, does not mean the end of your Deen.
“May Allah forgive both the living and the Dead ones among us”.
