Enyimba FC Partners with AHZUBA FC for Football Collaboration and Development

In a significant move for Nigerian football, Enyimba FC, represented by former Nigerian internationals Chairman Kanu Nwankwo and Sporting Director Ifeanyi Ekweme, has announced a partnership with AHZUBA FC in Kano State. The collaboration aims to enhance football and technical development between the two clubs, capitalizing on the abundant talent present in the state.
Papilo, as Kanu Nwankwo is affectionately known, expressed his admiration for the football structure in AHZUBA FC Kano and highlighted the potential for talent development in the area. He said their mission is to assess the quality of players in Kano and offer them a chance to join the renowned Eyimba FC.He emphasized the importance of investing in sports facilities to engage and empower Nigerian youth, thereby steering them away from social vices.
Chairman of AHZUBA FC, Ahmed Zubairu Baba, expressed his delight at the partnership and the commitment shown by Kanu in coming directly to Kano from England for the collaboration. He said Kanu’s presence, would boost the morale of the young players and motivate them to pursue their careers with renewed energy. He recognized the efforts of Enyimba FC in prioritizing their youth team and investing in grassroots football development.
He also revealed that Eyimba FC has signed a partnership with a foreign club interested in young talented players, and hopes to extend the relationship beyond player recruitment to kit sponsorship and facility development.
