PDP Primaries: Concern Sapele Youths Canvas Support For Jehoiakim Ayomanor In Sapele LG
SAPELE: AS the elders, leaders and critical stakeholders set for the conduct of the primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to choose the party’s chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming local government election in Sapele local government area of Delta State, a group under the aegis of Concern Sapele Youths Home And In The Diaspora, has appealed to the elders, leaders and critical stakeholders of the PDP to elect Hon Envagelist Jehoiakim Ayomanor as the party’s flagbearer.
In a released made available to newsmen the group explained that Jehoiakim Ayomanor possessed strong leadership and administrative skill, humility, integrity bonded by his call to serve in Divine Vineyard, and the requisite academic experience to deliver on the mandate if given to him.
The group stated that having xray all the contenders and pretenders in the Sapele local government chairmanship race they are of the view that Evangelist Jehoiakim Ayomanor, will be more respectful to elders and leaders, in addition to being open and accessible if eventually elected as Sapele local government chairman.
While praying to God to give the elders, leaders and critical stakeholders the grace and the wisdom to choose the best candidate, the group praised the leaders and the political class in the Sapele local government area in introducing the urban and rural area dichotomy in the selection process of who flies the PDP’s ticket in every election year remarking that it has brought peace and stability to the local government area.
The group, therefore, advised the leaders and stakeholders to stick to this arrangement in the forthcoming primaries of the party.
The group also advised the elders to look at the direction of the Youths in line with the Oberevwori’s people oriented administration, just as it thanked the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Major General Godwin Mujakperuo (rtd), Orhue 1, and the spiritual leader of Okpe Kingdom His Eminence Archbishop Iboyi Godday, for their strong support for His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, during the last governorship election.
