One year in Office: With 317 projects ongoing, Delta turned to construction site- Gov. Oborevwori declares

In spite of odds strewn across his path in the build up to occupying Dennis Osadebay house , the seat of government in Delta state , Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has disclosed that with 317 projects ongoing in the state , Delta has turned to a huge construction site
Oborevwori said that 76 of the projects spanning 171.49km of roads , as well as 85.30km lenght of drains , were initiated by his administration
The Governor stated these during his one year in office anniversary thanksgiving at the Living faith Church ( Winners Chapel), lbusa road , Asaba
Noting that his emergence as Governor was a divine choice , judging from the pool of eminently qualified Deltans who contested the PDP Govrnorship primaries with him and subsequent elections with other political party candidates , Governor Sheriff Oborevwori added that the 38 court cases against his emergence which he won was further proof of his divine mandate to govern Delta at this point in time
Acknowledging though that the past one year has been full of tests and challenges , he however acknowledged God,s faithfulness to overcome
Also noting that the 2022 PDP Guber primaries was the most keenly contested in the history of Delta politics , Oborevwori gave all thanks to God for his emergence
He also commended his dear wife , Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori , the Deputy Governor , his predecessor Senator Dr lfeanyi Okowa, former Governor Uduaghan , the judiciary and legislature , as well as the traditional institution and other political appointees for the support thus far, promising that he is confident of the Delta of everyone,s dream to be a reality .
The Governor said his administration has surpassed expectations despite challenges and expressed confidence that with God on the throne , his MORE agenda was on course
The thanksgiving service was attended also by serving and non serving Senators including Senator Joel Onowakpo Thomas representing Delta South senatorial District, Deputy Speaker DTHA , Rt Hon Arthur Akpowowo, the Chairman Delta Council of Traditional Rulers and Orodje of Okpe , HRM Felix Mujakperuo , Orhue 1, the state Chief Judge , Hon Justice Theresa Diai, her Customary Court of Appeal colleague , Hon Justice Orishedere , PDP State Chairman , Olorogun Kingsley Esiso, among others
