In the spirit of solidarity to show support to the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU in Nigeria over their five months old strike in demand for the good of the staff welfare and the various federal government owned universities as well some state not treating lecturers well the, Nigeria Labour Congress , NLC on Tuesday July 26, 2022 nationwide commenced a 2-dsy protest in urging federal government to listen to ASUU demands
The organised Labour mobilised all affiliate unions including the Nigeria Union of Journalists Delta State Council and its members adequately complied and there were large turnout in the solidarity protest.
