We must have backing of good governance to end insecurity – Gen. Musa

The Nigeria Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, General Christopher Musa says Nigeria must have good governance in order to end insecurity across the country.
General Musa who was speaking live on ARISETV Morning Show Monday January 12, insisted that having good governance at the state level and local government areas down to the grassroots will help in reducing the insecurity situation drastically.
The Nigerian Defence Chief notes that the Army won’t be demoralised by international community, stressing that whenever they are recording successes some international organisation want to always criticize and demoralise the troops, he expressed assurance that they won’t be deterred in their battle against terrorist and insecurity in the country.
He said over 60 thousand terrorist surrendered to Nigeria security force due to the superior fire power and logistics of the troops assured that the troops will continue the fight against insurgents by taking the battle to wherever they are until every criminal elements surrender.
CDS, Musa said poverty hunger, lack of infrastructure, lack of education others major pointer to fueling insecurity, appealed to local government chairman, governors to focus more on developing their localities in the country
