Sweden has officially recognized sex as a sport and finalized preparations for the inaugural sex tournament that’s set to commence on Thursday, June 8, 2023.
Participants in the sex tournament will engage in daily sexual encounters that can span up to six hours.
According to Swedish local media, a panel of judges will determine the winners of the sex competition, while the audience will also contribute their opinions and analyses to the selection process.
The European Sex Championship, scheduled for June 8, will extend over a period of six weeks, during which participants will partake in sexual activity on a daily basis for durations ranging from 45 minutes to one hour, depending on the length of their bouts.
The report states that the competition consists of three levels, and contestants must achieve a specific minimum number of points at each level in order to advance.
Contestants in the sex tournament have the opportunity to earn between 5 and 10 points in each discipline, with the scoring determined through a combination of public votes and evaluation by a panel of five judges.
According to the report on Opindia.com, the audience will observe the sex competitions and take note of various aspects of the sexual activity. Factors such as the chemistry between the couple, their understanding of sex, their endurance level, and other important sexual attributes will all be considered in determining the ultimate winner.
Head of the Swedish Federation of Sex, Dragan Bratych, expressed his hope that sex would eventually be recognized as a sport worldwide. He highlighted the value of education and the potential benefits of engaging in sexual activity for one’s physical and mental well-being.
“Just like any sport, achieving desired results in sex requires training,” he stated, suggesting that competition in this realm will inevitably develop.
Bratych emphasized the unique aspects of this sport, where the objective is to bring extreme happiness to one’s partner. He added that the competitor’s ability to satisfy their partner is the key determinant of success in this game, in contrast to traditional sports where losing often leads to disappointment.
A Legal Practitioner/human rights activist and public affairs analyst Chief Robinson Ariyo has urged the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to eschew the predominance of persons from a few ethnic or sectional groups in the composition of his Government.
While Addressing newsmen Tuesday June 6, 2023 at his country home in Ubeji, Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Chief Robinson Ariyo posited: thus, “It is the intention of the founding fathers of Nigeria that every government should promote national unity and the feeling of inclusion. Permit me to commend Section 14 (4) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended which provides; “The composition of the Government of a State or any of the agencies of such Government …, and the conduct of the affairs of the Government …or such agencies shall be carried out in such manner as to recognise the diversity of the people within its area of authority and the need to promote a sense of belonging and loyalty among all the people of the Federation”.
He further argued that the State Governor, having taken oath to discharge his duties to the best of his ability, faithfully and in accordance with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the law, and always in the interest of the sovereignty, integrity, solidarity, well-being and prosperity of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it would be too early in the day to begin manifesting traits that appear to reflect the contrary. Chief Robinson Ariyo observed: stating “I am particularly disturbed that the allegory “Ukodo” which the Governor assured Delta would be equitably shared appears to have left out a very critical ethnic nationality that contributes a chunk of the oil resources of Delta State and indeed the country. Several sensitive appointments have so far been made and while some ethnic groups already have two or more, the Itsekiris do not have any”.
The Warri based lawyer who is also a peace building expert and development consultant, has urged all well-meaning Itsekiri leaders to close ranks and think beyond their personal interests and think of their collective interest instead. According to him “In every society there is usually a tension between the individualistic and communal interest but prosperity never forget those who perpetually sacrifice communal interest for their personal interest. I have observed many influential Itsekiris constantly sacrificing the communal for their personal interests and seek to give the impression that they are patriots; there is nothing that can be more deceitful. We must begin to think more of what we can do for the community than what we can do for ourselves”; He noted
According to Chief Ariyo; “we cannot go to church every Sunday and sit on front row while the cardinal doctrine of Christianity; love thy neighbour as thy self does not resonate in us. We must begin to give effect to what we preach and claim to stand for.
The level of hypocrisy in our land is unprecedented. Let us remember the last words of Late Dele Giwa; “No evil deed will go unpunished; any evil done by man to man will be redressed; if not now then certainly later; if not by man, then by God for the victory of evil over good is temporary”; He stressed .

“The people out number the police workforce and so the police can’t do it alone, we need people to come actively in and be free to bring things to my notice that need my attention, you see something you say something.
While commending the selfless services of the Police Public Relations Officer DSP, Bright Edafe and he’s ways of continuously solving issues beforehand, the CP stated that “it’s an aberration for anyone to stop you and start asking you to bring your phone, despite incessant lectures with them they will still be demanding.” adding that “People are now realizing their rights, not even the CP has any rights to just stop you and demand your phone unless its necessary.”

A famous Journalist, Comrade Akpovoke Otiti has called on Delta Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori to, as a matter of urgency to embark on a seven-Rs initiative to save the state from recycling old politicians who have been in power since the time of former governor Ibori.
Describing the seven Rs as reconciliation, recalibration, rebirth, re-education, re-industrialisation, re-construction and rebranding of the State , he plead with the Governor not to fill his cabinet with recycled, corrupt political jobbers.
Otiti also urged Oborevwori not to let his predecessor choose the secretary to the state government SSG for him, because that is the government engine room and that he should remove recycled politicians from his choice of principal office holders.
“Those corrupt, recycled characters lobbying to serve have little or nothing to offer Delta State, Many have been in power since 1999, and they have made Delta became one of the poverty state under their watch; they don’t deserve a second chance.”
He also called on him to prioritise meritocracy. Otiti said the outcome of such decision will be tragic and wouldn’t want Oborevwori to go the same route.
Otiti called for the abolition of “recycling Cabal,” which he says is unknown to the constitution. “The cabals engineered the suffering of Deltans and if these cabals are recycled in his government, meaning there won’t be MORE agenda for Deltans .
GEJ’s cabal made him clueless. PMB’s cabal held him hostage in the Villa according to PMB’s wife. Allowing your closest political and business associates, the Vice President or your wife or son or daughter to form a new cabal is like signing an irrevocable MoU with failure, because the ‘cabal’ is not on record for positive contributions. says Otiti.
