The National President of College of Commerce Old Students Association, COCOSA worldwide, Comrade Victor Kolawole Enijuni has commended the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area Council, Comrade Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro for the Flag off of the reconstruction of the Old UCC Road in Warri, Delta State.
COCOSA President Enijuni Wednesday December 4, 2024, while reacting to the road flag off, expressed gladness over the reconstruction of the College of Commerce Old road project ongoing, describing it as historic because the road has been forgotten by previous administration before the current Comrade Agbateyiniro led administration took the bold action of initiating reconstruction.
The COCOSA National President, Comrade Enijuni in his press statement made available to the Media through the COCOSA National Public Relations Office, PRO, Comrade Celestine Ukah, said the performance of the Chairman of Warri South Local Government Council speaks volume to the development in Warri South, silencing previous under performed administrations in the LGA for years past.
Comrade Enijuni appealed to Warri South Local Government Chairman, Comrade Agbateyiniro to also come to the aid of College of Commerce Warri and open up the original road to the school which begins from Deco road down to the school gate but has been encroached by land grabbers thereby blocking the road and making it difficult to gain access into the School Premises.
The COCOSA National President also used the medium to appeal to Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to come as a matter of urgency to look into the road issue saying GKS has recently fenced part of the road thereby illegally acquiring government property.
