“Asawana brought Wike to power in 2015 it didn’t irritate him then”- Nangi-Obu declares

The Secretary General of Ijaw Youths Council, IYC, Maobuye Nangi Obu has declared that ” the Ijaw word “Asawana” brought former governor Nysom Wike into power as governor of Rivers State in 2015.
Nangi-Obu made the declaration Thursday December 14 on ChannelsTv SunRise Daily while reacting to the political development in Rivers as 27 Lawmakers defected to the APC from the PDP in the state, he pointed out that as at then when they mobilised total support to endure his emergence then the word Asawana didn’t irritate or disturb him.
The IYC scribe further stated that since 1999 till date the Ijaw people have been mobilising votes for who become governor of Rivers state and that the firmer first lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan from Okrika supported and mobilised for Wike and ensued he won but is surprised that the firmer governor is allegedly doesn’t want the “real Asawana” to govern without stress.
