Breaking: Delta NUJ Election, Oyowe wins Chairmanship position as Ekwu emerges as Vice, Sorokwu, Omodior Secretary & Assistant Secretary respectively
Comrade Churchill Oyowe has won the Delta NUJ election held today October 18 at the NUJ press centre Marian Babangida Way, Asaba, Delta State.
Comrade Oyowe who defeated Comrade Salvation Ogono from sane ministry of information Asaba had massive vote across the 16 chapels in the state.
Former Chairman of DBS Warri Correspondents’ Chapel and immediate past Assistant State Secretary Comrade Felix Ekwu won as the new Vice Chairman NUJ Delta council defeating his closest rival Joy Mordi with wide margin .
While Comrade Victor Sorokwu emerged victorious as the Secretary NUJ Delta, Comrade Josephine Omodior won as the Assistant Secretary NUJ Delta council.
