History made as College of Commerce qualifies, emerges 5th at final Stockholm Junior Water Prize Competition
**COCOSA vow to sustain support to students, Alma Mater

History were made May 28 in Abuja Nigeria’s federal Capital as the Students from College of Commerce Warri in Delta State qualified in the Stockholm Junior Water Prize competition organised by the Sweden Embassy.
College of Commerce were the only school that represented Delta State and other South South States they emerged 5th at the academic tasky excercise which engaged five students from the school.
The National Public Relations Officer, PRO, of COCOSA, Celestine Ukah reports that the participating students were between age 15-20 as the organisers have specified not more than 20 years of age,which the supervising Teacher, Mrs. Ogbimi Omowumi Adeyinka had to identify and prepare six students for the competition, namely: Onovbiona Jessica SS2, Team Leader, Ndukwe Mary Chinyere SS2, Alex Favour, Ikechukwu Favour, Panama Tega and Station Glory both prepared a special project topic tagged “College of Commerce Warri on Purification of Water, a case study of rivers in Warri”. At the final stage two students were selected for participation, Team Leader, Ndukwe Mary Chinyere and Onovbiosa Jessica respectively.
The College of Commerce students were able to distinguish themselves very well from subnational to the final where they once again battle other schools from other parts of the country and showed up superb and excellent performance to clinch the 5th position despite some logistics challenges suffered to meet up in Abuja.
President of College of Commerce Warri Old Students Association Worldwide, Mr. Victor Kolawole Enijuni commended the the teacher in charge of the students, Mrs. Ogbimi Omowumi Adeyinka for her effort in making sure the students put out their best at the competition.
President Enijuni, while appreciating the students for their academic prowess assured them of the old students support at all times, he also called the Delta State government to as a matter of encouragement grant audience to the victorious students at government House Asaba in order to boost their moral and as effort in building moral and discipline society.
Vice President of COCOSA, Deaconess Mrs. Yemisi Adebisi, COCOSA BOT Chairman,Barr Patrick Ederi, BOT Secretary, Chief Isaac Ehwerherume, BOT member, Chief Reginald Amadi and the entire College of Commerce Warri Old Students Association Worldwide vowed to sustain their support to the students and the Alma Mater in order to encourage solidarity to good academic record and standard as well as other extras curriculum activities for enhancement and development of the students and management.
