First edition: College of Commerce emerges best speaker in BAF DBS Debate competition

College of Commerce a notable government owned public secondary school in Warri, Delta State has won the best speaker position in the first edition feature of their category in  the Bashorun Askia Foundation, BAF debating competition that’s ongoing

The BAF debating competition which is being organized in collaboration with Delta Broadcasting Service DBS Warri witnessed the superlative and distinguishing performance of students of College of Commerce Warri, Tuesday May 30, 2023 as they defeated  Abe I secondary school Aruakpor Umah. Ekpan, Uvwie LGA to clinch the best speaker position of the competition in that stage even as Abe I also emerged bright.

Principal of College of Commerce Warri, Mrs. Queen Oyibo while commending the Teacher that guided the students, Mrs. Ogbimi Omowumi for a job well done congratulated them for making the school proud by winning the prize in that category.

Victory Christopher who spoke on behalf of the Students that represented the school expressed joy for their outstanding performance assuring that they will do more by working hard to continue participating in such competitions.

President College of Commerce Old Students , COCOSA Worldwide, Mr. Enijuni Kolawole Victor congratulated the school for the successes recorded, promising to support the school with sporting , ICT and other enabling facilities to improve on teaching and learning as well as extracurricular activities.
