Don’t be part of proposed Nationwide protest- Dr. Agbolaya admonishes Youths in Warri, Deltans
Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Delta State and Aspirant in the just concluded Delta State Local Government Councils polls in Warri South, Amb. Dr. Toyin Orighomisan Agbolaya JP has advised Warri South youths and Deltans not to be part of the proposed Nationwide protest scheduled for Thursday August 1-10 2024 across the country.
Dr. Agbolaya appealed to the people of Warri South and Deltans to allow government attend to their demands put forward in addressing hardship, high cost of goods items, both in all sectors as it affect all Nigerians in the present administration.
He notes that giving government time to look into the critical issues raised will do more good than embarking on protest which according to him might lead to hoodlums hijacking it to cause destruction of lives and properties as well as critical assets and infrastructures in the country.
The Warri born grassroot seasoned administrator and Politician acknowledged that protest is a constitutional rights reserved to citizens to carry out but however cautioned against embarking on it due to the current fragile peace and other insecurity challenges facing the nation as at the moment of the country.
Whilst Call on security agents to be at alert to providing cover and protection to law abiding citizens, Dr. Agbolaya expressed support to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, calling on all to stand firmly behind the government of the state in continuous provision of the MORE agenda to all Deltans.
