Fifteen years of Darkness: Amb. Agbolaya commends Governor Oborevwori for restoring electricity to Ika South Community
Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Community Development, Amb. Dr. Toyin Orighomisan Agbolaya JP has expressed excitement to his Boss, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his pragmatic response in restoring electricity back to Ekuku-Agbor Community in Ika South Local Government Area after fifteen years in darkness of power cut
Dr. Agbolaya who joined the agrarian community to celebrate the restoration of electricity in the area, said he understands that due to the passionate heart of the governor when the people pleaded to him through the former commissioner now the Chairman of Ika South a contract was awarded by the Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori- led Delta State Government to resuscitate the power sub station at Ekuku-Agbor.
The Special Adviser stressed that the governor’s gesture, has boosted the confidence in the state government among the people and that with the restoration of electricity supply, the economic activities in Ekuku-Agbor and adjoining communities that cut across Ika South and neighbouring Aniocha South local government government areas had now been revived.
He enjoined Deltans to remain peaceful and supportive to the Oborevwori administration as he’s ready to do MORE in his agenda for the people of the state
