Following the purported directive and counter directive by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB over alleged “sit at home” order declared Friday July 22, 2022 the Nigerian Army have been alleged to have engaged the group in a shooting scaring residents of Ohafia town, headquarters of the LGA in Abia state.
The heavy gun shoots sounds which began around 10:am today as at the time of filing this report is still ongoing and however causing palpable tension in the whole of that area.
An indigene of the town who spoke to area news nigeria undercover said the tension have paralysed business activities in the local government headquarters, the regular market day of the Asaga market disrupted traders shutdown shops, while buyers scamper for safety due to the shooting and gun shoots sounds.
