There’s heavy traffic gridlock along NPA Expressway caused by blocked drains on the road by Redeemed Church and Chevron opposite former Julius Berger all in Ekpan, Uvwie LGA, Delta State.
The traffic jam Monday evening July 25, 2022, caused huge havoc on the ever busy NPA Expressway, leading to traffic build up on top of one of the main bridge connecting the popular one man village at the express.
areanewsng.com can Authoritatively report that Commuters are calling on Governor Okowa to immediately mandate the Chairman of Uvwie LGA, Hon. Ransom Onoyake and other relevant government agencies to urgently go and open up the closed water passage channel along the bridge on the NPA Expressway way which has become daily routine in the area.
Our Correspondent who witnessed the traffic situation said, Concerned stakeholders are also requesting for immediate evacuation of refuse and clearing of the forest on the median from some part of Prodeco estate stretch down to the Redeemed church area on the road near Bon Delta Hotel also to Effurun Roundabout and to Otokutu bridge end of Ugbomro and Ugbolokposo junction all in Uvwie LGA as well as Ekpan flyover open field and slop down of the bridge before Shaguolor junction.
