The front line aspirant for the office of the next Council Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State, Amb. Dr. Toyin Agbolaya JP says since they started election in PDP till date that they in Bowen Ward have never lost any election in that part of Warri South LGA of the state.
Dr. Agbolaya made this known at the Warri South PDP Secretariat, Sunday May 12, 2024 during his formal declaration to contest as the next Chairman of Warri South LGC in the forthcoming Delta Local Government Councils Election scheduled for July 13, 2024 by the Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC.
The Warri South Chairmanship top contender said ‘I no say I dey among the more equal, therefore among the more equal, stating further that no one has the pain of Warri more than him and that if given the opportunity to become the next Warri South Council Chairman peaceful Warri as a dream will be actualised.
While seeking for the party’s support, Dr. Agbolaya rolled out his 5-Point agenda mandate for the growth of Warri to include solving insecurity and that they key to solving insecurity is in his hand as he will different strategy to handle it, ensure more Primary Healthcare facilities construction, support quality education, introduce credit scheme to empower the people, agricultural support and human capital development as well as environmental sanitation in order to sustain operation keep Warri South clean.

According to Dr. Agbolaya ” We will make effective use of our internally generated revenue, IGR, to work for the people in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori M.O.R.E agenda, with my vast business acumen I have made good contacts will use it to attract president of foreign country to visit Warri.
“I will also use my contacts to attract some investment and foreign grants to Warri for the good of Delta state, I will setup Advisory Committee in the Council that will include the party chairman both past council chairmen and other critical stakeholders will be among the committee as well prioritize welfare of party executive members, I once again as always solicit for your support in this struggle.
Chairman of PDP in Warri South, Mr. Johnson Agbeyegbe described Amb. Toyin Agbolaya as a salt in politics of Warri, adding that Dr. Agbolaya is a respectful, committed, loyal and intellectual personality, he expressed delight that Dr. Agbolaya joined the race for the Warri South Chairmanship contest, he prayed for him to succeed his ambition.
The Warri South Chairmanship hopeful was also commended by party supporters as they noted that he has what it takes to be the next Chairman of Warri South LGC and that he’s a unifier.
Some notable personalities that followed Dr. Agbolaya to the PDP Secretariat include:: Hon. Ojere Erewa former member that represented Warri South constituency at Delta State House of Assembly, Apostle Yemi Omaghomi, Dele Nami, Stephen Amalili as well as Toying Orighomisan Agbolaya campaign team supporters.
