Massive Defection: APC has become fastest growing Party in Africa, big enough to accommodate others, Dr. Ogidigben
A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress in Delta State, Olorogun Dr. Allison Ogidigben says the ruling APC has become the fastest growing political party in Africa and that it is large enough to accommodate the wave of defections from other political parties in Nigeria.
Speaking in an interview with Deltatimes, Olorogun Dr Allison Ogidigben said he strongly believes that APC has become the fastest growing party in Africa, going by the inflow of persons from different parties in Nigeria.
He sited an example of the recent decampment of the Delta State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori and the state immediate past Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa into the APC, alongside an army of aides, associates and supporters, as a clear fact that APC is the right place to be.
Olorogun Dr. Ogidigben also sited the decampment of the Kwankwanso group, led by their leader, Alhaji Kwankwanso, to the APC, as another testament to the fact that the party is a true progressive front for the Nation.
The Delta State APC Chieftain further posited that with the array of defection in Delta State, has no doubt vindicated him for his decision to leave PDP for APC in February, and having exhibited a progressive mindset as regard modern day politics.
Olorogun Dr. Ogidigben commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his great leadership style and Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that his hardwork and positive vision are what has attracted a huge defection of people into the party.
Going forward, he encourages all Nigerians to gear up preparation to ensure a second tenure for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
