Mothers are Pillars of family, Society, Says, Dr. Agbolayah, as he marks 2025 mother’s day

The Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Community Development, Amb. Dr. Toyin Agbolaya JP has felicitated women and mothers on the occasion of the 2025 International Mother’s Day, which is also known as Mothering Sunday.
Dr. Agbolaya on Sunday March 30, described mothers as the stronghold of families and societal unity.
He said that the celebration was an opportunity to again recognise and acknowledge the significant role of mothers in the family, society and nation-building.
The governor’s Special Adviser said that the theme of the 2025 celebration, “Beauty of Motherhood,” was quite captivating as it reflected the essence of motherhood.
He described Mothers as builders and nurturers, bulwark of family and societal cohesion and growth, adding that Without them, every home, family and society will lose its salt and essence.
Dr. Agbolaya posited that the 2025! mother’s day offers an opportunity to reflect on the role of mothers and that indeed mothers are the molding of the right virtues in children and in the nation.
He assured women that the state government under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori is committed to affirmative action for women and mothers as well as uplifting them through the M.O.R.E Agenda, requisite skills acquisition and empowerment programmes of the government
