NLC strike: protesters shutdown Chevron, Texaco company yards in Delta
As the NLC strike begins Monday June 3, 2024, in Nigeria and observed in Warri, Delta protesters have shutdown Chevron Nigeria limited and Texaco yards along NPA Expressway, Warrri, Delta.
The protesting workers implanted the organised labour action of shutting down the country in order to enforce the acceptance of government to negotiate with the NLC on the new living minimum wage currently being discussed about.
Meanwhile some angry Itsekiri youths have also blocked the yard in Warri pressing forward for their people to be employed in the recent employment window in the company.
