NWFL: Nasarawa Amazons Targets Win Against Ekiti Queens

Players of Nasarawa Amazons expressed confidence in their team’s chances of securing a win against Ekiti Queens on Matchday 12 of the NWFL Premiership 24-25. In individual interviews after a training session at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, the players showed determination and optimism.

“We’re well-prepared to take on our opponents, even on their home turf. Football is about showcasing our skills in every game,” said Janet, one of the players.

Another player added, “We trust in God and believe we can make our Chairperson and Governor proud with our performance.”

This upcoming match marks the second leg of the season, with Nasarawa Amazons having won the first leg 2-0 at the Lafia City Stadium.

Coach Christopher Danjuma shared his thoughts on the match, saying, “The league is getting tighter, and every game counts. We’ve built cohesion and understanding within the team, and winning this game is our top priority. We need to be in the super six to make the competition complete, and we’re ready to do what it takes to achieve that.”

The match is scheduled for tomorrow at 12 noon at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan.
