Omu Anioma Goes To Abuja On Niger Delta Dialogue

The cerebral mother of Anioma Nation, HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu (Omu Anioma/Nneoha) has been invited to Abuja on Wednesday 24th January, 2024, as a departure day, for a 1-Day meeting on Thursday 25th January, 2024, conveyed at the instance of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Hon. Abubakar Momoh.

The meeting is in view of the ongoing development of the Niger Delta Regional Peacebuilding Strategy, which the Omu Anioma has been a key stakeholder under the umbrella of the Foundation for Partnership Initiatives in the Niger Delta (PIND).

Omu Dunkwu who will arrive Abuja on Wednesday, will seize the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to her illustrious son – Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District.

It could be recalled that in the last decade, Omu Anioma had been a key participant in the Niger Delta Dialogue where she had contributed meaningfully and immensely in seeking lasting solutions to the economic challenges and violent agitations of the Zone, in order to bring about peace and economic prosperity to the Region.
