The Delta Broadcasting Service Sports Club, DBS Sports club, Warri, Delta State has honoured the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Oborevwori of Delta State, Â Nze Francis Onuora, Dr. Felix Okwekum, Engr. Patrick Ossai both Patrons of the club and also recognised, Chairman of Welfare Committee, Evang. Engr. Nurudeen Oluoboh for their outstanding and committed support to the upliftment of the Club.
The award which was a surprised goodwill package to the recipients were presented to them immediately after the weekly exercise held at DBS premises with other activities at the Games Village, while celebrating April Birthday Celebrants Saturday May 4, 2024.
DBS Sports Club also commended (Dr.) Mrs. Rose Obi for her generosity to the club and for also showing steadfast support in the affairs of the club.
While responding on behalf of the recipients, Dr. Felix Okwelum commended the entire members of DBS Sports club for their recognition on them assuring that they will do more as the honour have propelled them to do more to the growth of the club.
He stated further that under the leadership of Comrade Louis Nushe as Coordinator DBS Sports club, the club is now a social arm of Delta Broadcasting Service, it has developed massively, he appreciated the effort of the management team and members for their continuous cooperation.

Welfare Chairman of DBS Sports Club, Evang. Engr. Nurudeen Oluoboh notes that the vision of the club include having a car and bus as part of its future plan.
Engr. Nurudeen Oluoboh appreciated members and all that supported in making the April birthday bash a successful event, assuring that hopefully going forward others will be celebrated monthly by the club.
