Rivers Crisis: You must pass through me to arrest any of my supporters – Fubara warns
The Governor of Rivers State, SIM Fubara says he won’t allow any security agencies or their alike to arrest and intimidate any of his supporters in the state without passing through him.
Governor Fubara gave the warning Tuesday June 18, while addressing security agencies and the people in the state security meeting, adding that he won’t allow the state to be ungovernable by invaders whom he said doesn’t mean well for Rivers State.
He reiterated that the tenure of the local government Chairmen across the 23 local government councils have expired, therefore he has directed them to handover to the Head of Personel Management in their various councils.
Meanwhile due to the expiration of tenure of the local government councils chairmen in Rivers State there was a massive choatic situation in Omuma, Port Harcourt city and other LGA Councils in the State.
