Late Pa. Clark: A National Community leader Per Excellence- Dr. Agbolaya, eulogizes elder statesman
**Says his agitations has brought peace, development to Niger Delta communities
The Special Adviser to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State on Community Development, Amb Dr. Toyin Agbolaya JP has described late Pa. Edwin Kiagbodo Clark as a Nationalist and community leader per excellence-in his life time.
Dr. Agbolaya stated this in his special condolence message Friday February 21, 2025 to family of late Pa. Clark noting that the elder statesman was a great voice who was focal and speaks truth to power no matter who is involved in the matter throughout his 70 years in politics before he relaxed due to old age and subsequent peaceful transition at 97.
While eulogizing Pa. Clark, Dr. Agbolaya said Chief Clark has attracted unaccounted numbers of development to the Niger Delta region and across other parts of Nigeria, using his resounding success and Congress knowledge in approach to people and issues.
He added that his agitations has brought peace, development to Niger Delta communities and beyond.
The Governor’s Special Adviser pointed out that the Nonagarian has been a strong voice in community development affairs as he did everything possible for the grassroots to enjoy attractions of dividends of democracy, assuring that Pa. Clark’s iconic image in Nigeria will be forever in the hearts and memories of the Niger Delta and beyond.
