Just In: Clerk of Rivers State House of Assembly, Amadi disowns Governor Fubara’s Assembly faction
**Says three Assembly members loyal to Fubara suspended since October 2023
As the political crisis in Rivers State continues unabated, The Clerk of Rivers State House of Assembly, Emeka Amadi has disowned Governor Fubara’s Assembly faction.
Noting that the speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly remains Martin Amaewhule.
The clerk said the three members of the Assembly loyal to Governor Sim Fubara which are: (Hon. Victor Oko Jumbo, Hon. Sokari Goodboy Sokari and Hon. Adolphus Orubimie Timothy) were suspended on the 30th of October 2023 and that they cannot lay claim to be officers of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
