Ottasolo Supremo congratulates Finidi on his appointment as new Super Eagles Coach
Ottasolo FC President, Otunba Gabriel Davies has congratulated Enyimba head Coach, Finidi George on his new appointment as the head coach of the Nigeria Super Eagles
The astute football administrator made this assertion at Ijebu-Ode where his team is camping for the ongoing Nigeria Nationwide League One.
The NFF approved and announced Finidi George on Monday following his recommendation by the NFF Technical Department
According to Otunba Gabriel while speaking with pressmen
“Let me first of say a big Congratulations to Coach Finidi George for a well deserved appointment as the new Super Eagles head coach.
“I think the young man have paid his dues and has come a long way. He is doing excellently well with Enyimba and also did well during his playing days in the colors of the NationalTeam.
“I believe he will do well with the National team because he knows the terrain and the players are already use to him. It won’t be a difficult task for him to execute. I want to use this opportunity to call on all the stakeholders and football enthusiasts in Nigeria to throw their support behind him.
The astute administrator went further to commend the NFF for a job weldone to have selected Finidi for the job.
“I must say kudos to the NFF under the leadership of Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau and the NFF Technical Department for selecting George Finidi for the job. I think this selection is perfect considering the antecedent of Finidi. Otunba Gabriel concluded.
Finidi is expected to guide the Super Eagles to victory in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against South Africa and Benin Republic in Uyo and Abidjan respectively.
